The millionth Martin
Read about this priceless guitar in this month's Acoustic Guitar mag. Apparently they have no problem letting people play this thing.

From the mag: "Despite the cost, effort, and it irreplaceable nature, the millionth Martin will travel to huge trade shows, and it get played wherever it goes. The company's attitude is, 'here's our millionth guitar, it's priceless, wanna play it?"
So what does a priceless guitar sound like?

I think you guys are missing the point there.....
"Is “#1,000,000” the ultimate C.F. Martin guitar? Certainly it is an unprecedented museum piece and a pristine example of the guitarmaking craft"
The gutiar isn't to be owned. It's there to show what they COULD do with guitars. It DEF sounds better than almost 99% of the guitars in the world because of the extremely chosen wood being used, among other appointments.
But in the end, it's a guitar that will sit in a museum to be admired for the craftsmanship that went into building it. When you look at it in a small picture like that, it looks just like a big blob of inlays. I guarantee if you saw that up close and were able to admire the intricate details of all the pictures and stuff...you would change your mind if only because of how amazing of a feat it is
