My tab of Tim Reynolds' cover of "Ohio"

Unread post by Ritz Bitz » Thu May 20, 2004 8:29 pm

Here is my tab of the song. You'll notice quite a few differences from dmbguitar718's version. He had a good base, but this is the more accurate of the two. I'll throw up a video in a little bit.

Sorry it took so long, I'm lazy when it comes to tabbing. Enjoy.

is this a competition?

anyway, im not so sure this is more accurate. the "tin soldiers..." part is off. (watch the dvd...there is the f bass note, and there is a 0 on the high e that you're missing.)

anyway, other than those, the tabs are basically the same. i'd suggest watching the dvd though. its helpful.

No, it's not a competition.

I don't know which part you are referring to. Anyway, as stated in my post, I did tab it from the DVD. And you had a mistake in basically every part, so the tabs really are pretty different. As for it being more accurate, if you compare both tabs to the recording/DVD I think you'll see the mistakes you made.

Sorry if I'm coming off as a dick, I'm in a bad mood tonight.

no, no, i was a dick. sorry. ;)

anyway, im 100% positive he's doing the above mentioned parts. that high e is the "diers" of "tin soldiers" and he includes the low f on the e string.

so basically, our tabs combined can work off eachother.

As written in the tab, yes it ends in an open C the first time around, but it doesnt the second. Watch the video, you will see what I mean.
