My first performance

Unread post by jsgksu » Tue Mar 18, 2003 6:36 pm

Ok, so I played out for the first time the other day, kinda. I was at a party at my friends house for St. Patty's Day and at like 8 o'clock a bunch of people started showing up and we were all sitting on the porch and someone busted out a guitar and played a few easy barre chord songs and I asked if I could play. I drew a crowd and amazed the few people that knew how to play guitar. I dont think Im that good but when they saw me playing shit like Warehouse and Two Step they were surprised because of the quick playing and crazy "Dave" chords that they had never seen. I know it was just a spontaneous drunken jam session at a college party but I chalk it up as my first "performance" and I think it was a success, I cant wait to do it again, it was so much fun.

i always get people to listen to me play, and when i play crush and stream for them, they usually say they like crush better, its weird cause i play stream so much better, yet i guess people really are amazed by dave's different style and stuff. my first performance ever was at a talent show, played crash, second was the talent show the next year, i played after the goldrush by tim reynolds, then another performance at the cast party after the play last year, and every now and then i get people in my room to listen to me go crazy playing dave and tim stuff, i really love playing, i get so many compliments even though the people dont know its dave.
