and the days are just packed...

i missed a plane because of more unruly than usual nyc traffic...took me 2 hours to get to the airport instead of a half hour....on a friday afternoon...i'm bewildered.

anyway, i happened upon a free demo area for Intel's new wireless internet technology, CENTRINO....and i have 4 hours to kill...

can anyone think of something REALLY intreresting to say about 12 strings? :wink:

owning one makes you sick of them.
actually, i think TUNING one makes you sick of them. i have a fender DG-somethin or other 12 string, beautiful guitar, but i dunno, i just get tired of playing it most of the time. after i got it, it was all i played, but im rather sick of it now. plus, keeping it in tune is too much trouble, for me anyhow.

i hardly ever have to retune my guitars. my godin hasnt needed retuning in like 2 months and my 12 string needs retuning about once a month... if you get a good one they dont suck. :)

nah. my 12 string has ghs silk and steel which need to be replaced anyway. supposedly you should restring every 2 months (that varies due to the amount of time you play) and its been a while past that. i hate restringing it. its the only thing i hate about the 12 string. it still sounds very good though. my godin still sounds great too.

are 12 strings really that much of a pain? i've never restrung one, but realistically speaking it's not like a 50-string or something....what's the big deal?

Jay get a 12 string, start restringing it, tune it, and when youre tuning it have the high g string break. then youll know what im talking about

hahahaha i bet that would suck. mmm...i want a 12 string. i was actually gonna buy the taylor 355, but since my acoustic guitar decided to be a bastard and start falling apart, the 12 will have to wait till 2004.
