Are there any jam variations when playing this song solo?

there are two jams.. the first one is quick and played maybe 4 times(it's played after each verse and actually leads to the 2nd jam, which is really long) so yeah.. which one are you talking about?

I always play variations of the chords. Sometimes I play them in their standard barre forms, sometimes, just the treble notes.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

You could play it with a different rythym. I just heard a 1994 show where Stefan played the bass a little quicker, and it sounds pretty good.

Sometimes I will play it like this:

Code: Select all

e----------------------------- e--------------------------------
B-10---9-----7----3----5---- B----12----7------5----2----3--
G-11---9-----7----4----6---- and G----12----7------6----2----4---
D----------------------------- D--------------------------------
A----------------------------- A---------------------------------
E-10---9-----7----3----5---- E----12----7------5----2----3---

You can also throw in some hammers on the first e string to give it a more 'Timmy' effect. Just play around with it.

Why'd that get messed up? It looked perfect when I previewed it?

i just play it like on the tab, but i have a lot of rhythm and volume changes during it i guess, i start slow and build up, and then bring it back down real low at the end again usually
