So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

In The Space Between ALBUM FILL FOR CHORUS Tab I think Dave plays this way:
Code: Select all
E:-9------9------9h10--
B:---10-----10---------
G:------9------9------- x3
D:---------------------
A:---------------------
E:---------------------
E:-9------9------------
B:---10-----10---9----
G:------9------9-------
D:----------------------
A:----------------------
E:----------------------
In Granny it seems the chorus is:
Code: Select all
Play this section twice, the first time without the last two chords and the second time without the first G chord
E:-3-----------------------------------
B:-3-----------------------------------
G:-0--5/7--5---7---2---6----2----9---
A:-0--x----x---x---x---x----3---(5)--
D:-2--x----x---x---x---x----3----x---
E:-3--5/7--5---7---2---5----1----8---
That's all...just for precision!!!

Well, for the notes that dave sometimes play on the *baritone* during live stuff, and the notes that Glen plays on the album and Butch live for standard tuning is:
Code: Select all
E:-9------9------7-----
B:---10-----10-----9---
G:------9------9-------
D:---------------------
A:---------------------
E:---------------------
then, for Granny, that's actualy how it is on the site, but to make it more clear:
Code: Select all
E:-3-- -------------------------------------------
B:-3-- -------------------------------------------
G:-0-- -5/7--5---7---2---6---7---2---6---2----9---
A:-0-- -x----x---x---x---x---x---x---x---3---(5)--
D:-2-- -x----x---x---x---x---x---x---x---3----x---
E:-3-- -5/7--5---7---2---5---7---2---5---1----8---

I think the second time around should look like this:
Code: Select all
E:----------------------
B:----------------------
G:7---2---6----2----9---
A:x---x---x----3---(5)--
D:x---x---x----3----x---
E:7---2---5----1----8---

Our Fearless leader
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
