Help Tabbing Chords

Unread post by terranasor » Fri May 07, 2004 11:38 am

Hi,
I'm trying to tab a Jesse Cook song and I'm having no trouble tabbing the single notes, but the chords are giving me trouble. I can figure out what the root of the chord is, but as to what formation is being played, I have no idea. Does anyone have a good method for figuring out what the formation of the chord might be?

Any kind of pointers are greatly appreciated!

Definitely trial and error. And it just takes time. I used to be baffled by how people could hear chords in a song. Now if I hear a song on the radio for the first time I can usually call out the chords as they play them.
