your home page is looking sweet. I love the tree painting, so simple - nice.

the instrumental is sounding great - is that violin? It really adds to the piece. I love the sound liking to the horse hoofs and the tweeks and pulls on the guitar are really nice. Is that slide?

good luck on the release - I look forward to hearing the rest of the songs.

nickel creek is going to be performing in a little while once again on austin city limits.

Thanks Katie, I bought my plane ticket for new york yesterday and im going this saturday to record. My friend got me in this place to record: http://www.thecuttingroom.com/html/main.html
He's trying to get me a talyor to use for the recording it as well, but that might be hard. Because of how long its going to take to mix the Cd im waiting to release the CD untill July 16th. Im having alot of musicians(hopefully xoosh) come down and play at a release show, so if anyones living in ohio or michigan come down for the party, it will be fun :D

Xoosh, I dont think I will need your P.A. system like i thought I would. I talked to the head of the music department at the university and he said he might let me borrow the universities nice large PA and stage. Thanks for offering though, hope to see you there-

And, Yea thats a violin in that song. I really love the sound of the violin I wish i knew how to play it, because its such a cool sound. Heres another song I did with a violin player a while ago:

Cool that would be great if you guys could come by. Heres the line-up of musicians(i think xoosh is playing as well...), but heres what we have so far:

Josh woodward- heres one of his songs: http://www.songfight.org/music/house_in ... d_himh.mp3

Regina Koilparampil- shes from buffalo NY, and she is an amazing singer

Aural Mishap- my jam band playing a reunion show

Myself-...

and hopefully philip allen- I saw this guy a few days ago and his dad is a good friend. He is VERY amazing! in my opinion his voice is actaully better than the guy from coldplay....so im really hoping he can come.

And there might be more people as well, its quickly turning into a music festival instead or a release party, but thats cool.

Its in tiffin, ohio at the local union hall at 6:00 pm

hey tom,

that song sounds sweet! I love the feel - very middle eastern makes me want to wear veils and clap my hands.

I checked out your iuma site and I couldn't get the stream of juineaux off. I considered using iuma when mp3 site went down, but they seemed to be having just as many problems - so I looked elsewhere. The little banner you have looks sweet.

I was curious as to what juineaux (the name) is all about - that is if you care to elaborate.

That is so neat that there will be people from the boards supporting you and even playing! If you do a recording please be sure to link us some of the highlights of the evening. I would love to be able to take a listen if possible.

I just listened to given myself (3.19 - my birthday!) - great voice, so unique. I see girls in skirts dancing barefoot under the sun. I was hoping to view the lyrics, because I couldn't quite make them all out. Thinking about adding some backing vocals to this? It might sound really cool. Will this song be recorded with full band - or solo? This song kind of has a van morrison feel to it in some ways (I hope you take that as the compliment I meant it to be). I can vaguely hear in my mind the sound of those chimes that carter uses in specific spots. anyway, I am sure it will all come together wonderfully.

I will check out the other songs soon.

take care and good luck with the recordings! congratulations - sounds like a blast. I am sure you will be very inspired in new york - be sure to walk around aimlessly and see what befalls you!

thanks katie, I will defiantly take some pictures and highlights of the show when it happens. Its amazing that people are planning on coming down to see the show from dmbtabs. I didnt expect that, but its a great thing, hopefully we will all have some time afterwards for all of the dmbtabbers to do a dmb style jam or at least hang out and drink some brew or something-

oh, And the name juineaux is what a girl thought I named my one song and it stuck. She asked me if I had a name for one of my songs and i said "yea..um..no" and she thought i said some french word so she wrote down juineaux, but I was just mumbling.

I don't know if I missed anything, but I'm kind of tired right now, so I wouldn't doubt it... but I didn't see a date for when this will be. If you could let me know that would be great! :-)
