Totally, tripping billies gave me a lot of trouble but I got used it and now it's pretty simple, and I still can't get the mutting for warehouse. I think that Two Step is still the hardest, the chords aren't that difficult, but that strum!filmdude100cms wrote:Tripping is easier once uve gotten used to it. Warehouse is hard, cant do it, i no it, but i cant do the whatever hes doin.

Two step is the hardest thing in the world to play with two people for me.. me and everydaydmbfan tried to play it numerous times and always came up failing because our strumming got off rythme together

Satellite. Learning to play it is hard enough, especially stretching your hands in a weird riff for such a long time. Singing and playing it are something else because not only are the words off beat, but if you lose the pacing of the verse and misplace the words with the riff, you pretty much have to stop playing to catch up. After a year of playing it I still can't always get through a whole verse without losing timing.
All the other "hard" songs like The Stone, Billies, Warehouse, and SMTS I've been able to master, but Help Myself gives me problems because I can play it fine but I have trouble singing with it.

Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead

I learn a lot of songs in chunks. If they're too hard at first, I'll learn a song with seemingly similar reaches, fingermoves, etc. The Stone is almost easy for me now. Haven't really attempted the verse of Billies yet, but that seems like the hardest one. I'm also having big-time trouble getting the muting right on Warehouse
You know...one that looks hard but isn't so much, is Rhyme and Reason. Cool riff.

warehouse is hard to "get", but once you do its easy and fun. tripping billies was weird, just getting used to the fingering was difficult. let you down has a WICKED rhythm, i haven't applied myself to it enough to get it down. stone is easy, i had most difficulty with the strumming on that one.
overall warehouse and tripping are the most fun to just pick up and play, so they are definitely worth learning. captain is easy until you get back to the first chord after other sections, its hard to readjust your fingers that quickly (least for me). everything else is pretty easy.

DIDO was tough, i'm not sure i have the part where the tempo changes. stone took a while, but singing with it wasn't too bad. Warehouse is fun as hell to play, it's mostly everyday songs that i don't know too well. the ones i like, i learned, but that is probably my least fav CD.
