Dude, that is a big deal. Be proud. I attempted it a while back and put it down for a bit. I'll get it eventually.

if you can easily play the nature intro then you will be able to play the verse in no time

I cannot stress how this enough, its allot easier and sounds the same, u wont lose anything by playing it this way.

I--------------------------------------------------I
I-----2--------------3------3---------------------I
I-----2--------------2------0------0-------------I
I-----2------2--0--------0------0----------------I
I--0------4------------3------2--------0---------I
I--------------------------------------------------I

I----------------0---------------------------------I 2x then into chorus
I------------3-------------------------------------I
I------------2--------2--4-------------------------I
I----2---0-----------0---0-------------------------I
I-4------------------------------------------------I
I---------------------2---3------------------------I

the intro, and chorus are the same, but as u can see and hear this is easier, the other version is just too easy to mess up on for begining guitarists, and even intermediats like myself, this is easier but u still get the sound.

I never had a problem with TB. I picked it up easily. Rhyme and Reason was the first hard one I stumbled on, that one took a week.

stretching is my thang. I have massive hands and real long fingers. I guess that is what kinda makes it a little easier for me to play stuff. i mean...I've only been playing since Christmas so I'm not really that skilled.

Most of Dave's stuff is pretty easy because the hand just sort of cycles through motions. Start out slow and slowly pick up speed.

Tripping Billies is definitely the funnest Dave song to play.

there was a version going around that was slowed down a while back that pretty much had it right on. the verse is centered more on the lyrics, guitar wise. all dave does is play what the words sound like only on the guitar as well as singing which is why this song rocks when you get the verse down cause singing just goes along with it.
