Busted Stuff - No guests?

Unread post by erech » Sat May 01, 2004 1:51 pm

I remember reading somewhere that Busted Stuff had no guests on the album, is this true? There seems like there is a lot of instruments going on in the album, like the slide guitar in the beginning of grace is gone.

He plays piano and keyboard on that album too.

They have said in an interview that it was all them. It's idea was picked up with most of the songs on the LWS. They wanted to do an album with just them, and try to make it sound more like their live shows in the studio. So any other instruments on the album are by the band members.

Oh, you mean with a slide. I think Stefan plays one of those "Dobros" like ben harper's.

ben harper does not play a dobro. he plays wessinboan(most likely spelled that wrong). at least i never seen him play a dobro or talk about one. i'm sure he could play one though.

thanks,

live, stefan just uses his bass. He has done slide on it before: Two Step, Crash Into Me (I heard it on slide once), and once I heard him doing it once for the intro to AATW.

actually, most of the time actually uses the slide steel guitar. It's sorta like the one Robert Randolph uses except without pedals, I believe.[/code]
