how does dave pick crash?? having trouble...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I was just wondering, when playing crash, would you use a single guitar pick or 2 finger picks? having trouble getting up to the right speed with a single pick and hitting all the notes.

thanks in advance!!!

Single pick, he only ever uses that or his fingers, you have to kind of stutter the picking in between the strumming, if a solo recording of it would help let us know, we'll hook you up with one

He only uses his fingers on PFWYG, Grace is gone, Baby, and sometimes Everyday.

Crash is not to hard to play but I can never play it cause it cramps the hell out of my hand. How do I get past that? Will my hand just become more used to it the more I play it. Cause it hurts like a beeeyotch for me to play that song.

I had the same problem, my hand cramping for Crash somewhat but a great deal for #41. Eventually you'll hand will just get used to the stretch, just keep practicing it and play through the cramps and eventually you'll be cramp free! :D

As i said, i've seen videos where he has used a pick.. i've seen them where he hasn't.. even if i don't have actual proof, kanter tabbed a finger picked version.. he had to have seen a video where he finger picked it or it'd just be a picked version up
