Seriously, if you want a great song to learn those stretches, look up Message in a Bottle by The Police. Once you get this song down, satellite will seem like cake. You have to jump all over and make that stretch multiple times, very very quickly in MIAB. PS...if you wanna practice those stretches learn So Much To Say...it has a stretch that begins on the 1st fret which is a bit further of a stretch than in satellite

hey do you guys all know the easy way to play satellite...if your having trouble playiny the riff the way it is written on this web page try playing it like this. This is how I originally learned it before i started to play it like it is on the site here.
I think that dave used to play it this way at a point of time cause you can here his fingers sliding up and down the fret board. who know's but its and alternative way to try it.
