ah shucks,

I guess when you have the proper gear you'll have to take a listen and let me know.

The link wasn't working correctly so I had to put in a new one to the main page. It's also under my website -

peace & love -

Yea, you do have a really nice voice. The recording sounds pretty good too, is it analog? at least some of it sounds that way. Good work-

Damn chica! I liked that song. I went and listened ot the other songs on there. Stone gave me chills. Great work on the voice. How'd you learn to sing? Any advice? I'm trying to learn/get better.

am I the only one who isn't as terribly impressed? where's fatjack when you need him..

you get a 5/10 on the song.. track syncing lots you a lot of points.. regardless of how well I think you can sing.. I don't think you sung this song well.. I think it is just immature composition and something you'll grow out of.. or maybe it is just the style of music? I dunno.. I just didn't think your voice went with the music or maybe it was the lack of dynamic constrast? like you were just belting at me the entire the entire time..and do all those vocal vibratos and shiznit.. it's all cool and all but.. I guess I feel like the vocals should've come off more, uhm, somber? than so joyous? I dunno..

just my thoughts.. take them with a grain salt.. or even the whole shaker

scott - thanks for the input. I appreciate feedback of all kinds. It was my first recording. This is the kind of song that just makes me feel good to sing. I don't think rain necessarily needs to be somber, but I understand what you are saying - even still, the song remains the same. thanks again for taking the time out to listend and comment. some people do, some people don't..

sam - thank you, you nut! I've been singing on and off since I was a child. breathing is key. you have to learn how to breathe through your diaphragm as opposed to your chest. I would say start by practicing deep breathing that expands your belly and lower back. This allows you to sing with more strength without utilizing a tremendous amount of energy. If you get that down I would be happy to get you another exercise. yeah stone kind of gives me chills as well...thanks for listening, I appreciate that!

chris and rsward - thank you for the wonderful compliment! She has a beautiful voice in my opinion. I've never heard that one before, but people have resembled my voice to the liking of other female artists. I suppose it depends upon fluctuation - nice, thanks again.

katilyn - love, no you rock!

juineaux - I'm not sure what the gentleman used to be quite honest with you. I have to record at the cheapest possible level, funds, etc... basically I go and set up with this guy who has a trailer here in town and just let it go. It's a cd of guitar tracks and I layed vocals on top.

thanks again you guys. It's nice to be heard.

happy 4:20 - big smiles and spliffs for everyone!

take care

good stuff Katie...definitely sound like gwen and a little Courtney Love-ish, but better.

the music has an "Alice in Chains" (Circa - early 90's) sound to it...

good work.
