Radiohead-Creep cover

Unread post by Trippin Hillbilly » Wed Apr 14, 2004 6:18 pm

So I played this last night at an open mic night and I got a pretty good response so I thought i'd record it.
It's real sloppy, the guitar especially...but hey.

Tell me what you think please. :D

Heh heh, that song's great to cover live cause it's easy and sounds great acousticly :) Great example of that in this cover, similar vocals to the aoustic version btw :)

Very, very nice job. You really handled the falsetto part well too which most people screw up on. You consistenly post awesome stuff on this board. Keep it up, I would like to hear an original some time.
I'll play it first and tell you what it is later.

I really enjoyed that - fine work. You had the compressed passion in the vocals that were necessary to pull off an acoustic version of this song and then you let them explode around the 3-minute mark. Very nice. Some of your rhythm transitions were slightly off but nothing too noticeable at all. I also like how you didn't emphasize the "f" in "fucking." That annoys the hell out of me when people do that. Keep them coming.

Thanks for all your comments...

I ammended the recording slightly cause that damn 'Run' part was just too damn loud so I cut the db's down a little.

Brian, the 'F' thing...I know exactly what you mean. Annoys the crap out of me too.

Horsmar15, keep a look out over the next few days. I've got a brand new song that I'll be recording soon.

Thanks again.

thanks...the whole song is basically G,B and C power chords.. The suspensions are Gsus, Bsus and Csus.
Just mess around with it and you'll get it, it's real simple.

thanks to everyone who listened..
