Help with dvd burning

Unread post by themaker » Tue Apr 13, 2004 1:08 pm

I did a search here and couldn't find any......

I just bought a dvd burner, sony DRX-530UL yesterday. It came with the SONIC MY DVD software. Problem is i cannot import the dvds i downloaded off of torrent. somehow the software doesn't support the .VOB. I tried renaming it to MPG, was able to burn it., but the audio sucked. It was either too slow (low voice) or like as high as chipmunks :)

Is there anyone out here who would know how to solve this problem of mine. Or would you recomend another burning software that would cause no problems like this whatsoever?? Thanks alot

copytodvd is a great program for writing to disk

dvddecrypter and dvdshrink are great for ripping off of dvds

all those programs are also very easy to use

open up the folder with the video folder in it...add an "AUDIO_TS" folder to go along with the video_ts folder, even though the audio one will be empty

select both of those folders...right click...and there should be a copytodvd icon in those options once it is installed

Great! thanks :) the first disc i burned, i forgot to add that empty AUDIO_TS file you were saying. but seems to be working fine though. Why do i need to add it anyway?

I think that show was in iso.? If not open up the folder and tell us what's in it? Like is there a bunch of files called VOB and IBU and shit? Or when you open it, is it just a VIDEO_TS folder?
my name's lance and i like nuts
