i just downloaded a 40 minute audio file thats labeled "DMB demo tape 1/5/92" and was just curious to see if anyone knew if this was really it.
it's just dave and his guitar and isn't the best quality...

probably mislabeled... antsmarching doesnt list anything for that date and i know there are definitelydemos and performances from '91 in heavy circulation... you can even get a few things from '90 and there are listings for '89, you can probably find something if you look hard enough. I dont kowwhy, dmbalmanac isnt wirking right now

That "Satellite" that isn't about satellites, is After Her, not satellite

i'd like to hear the famous demo tape he did when he recorded bowa, tripping billies, recently, ibyu, and i think one more..can't remember off of the top of my head.

just to point out, the rutabega demos isn't a true demo tape. Dave did a few demo tapes, or a demo track, and so forth (with the band, and without). They piled some together, and gave it a name, and people mistook it for an acutal long demo tape, when it's just from different ones, some older, some newer. Antsmarching.org has more info on the mislabeled demo tapes.
