LIve at Luthers 2 step

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

In the beginning he is playing this over and over:

Code: Select all

Older Intro
E:-----
B:-----
G:-10--
D:-x---
A:-8---
E:-10--
Then about half way through it he plays this:

Code: Select all

Bridge/Fill
E:-----------------------
B:-----------------------
G:-10----10--10--10--10-- <---4
D:-x-----x---x---x---x---
A:-8-----x---x---8---8---
E:-10----6---8-------10-- <---1on6&8
Then he goes into the song, and at the end, he is playing the Bridge part until he finishes the song. Hope that helps :-)

LOL, alrighty then, ignore my post ;-) I would take it down, but something tells me that someone will think what most everyone else was, and this it was the Dave part ;-) And it might help someone out :-) Or so I hope, but I can't really help you out with the Tim fills, sorry :-(

In the words of Mr. T, I pity the fool who trys to tab those fills. All I know is they are in Dm. Like F, but with a D bass note.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Heres what you do. Stop relying so much on tabs and sit down and listen note by note and figure out on your own what it is. It may be fast but most solos are variated scales so once you get the first couple notes you should be able to recognize the scale. By learning to play what you hear will make you a better guitarist.
