grey street help
ok so its an easy song to play...two parts to it...the trouble i'm having is transitioning from the verse to the chorus....what chord do i end on in the verse before going to the chorus?
do i stop on the
e --
B --
G --4
D --x
A --x
E --3
and go right to
e --2
B --3
G --4
D --4
A --2
E ---
?
and vice versa, what about from chorus to verse?
it's really just timing that i have problems with, i listen to the studio version, as well as live versions, and i just cant seem to get it. any help is appreciated. thanks.

Homer: Apu, give me some of that beer with the little candies floating in it......you know, skittlebrau?
Apu: Sir, such a product does not exist.
Homer: well then, lemme have a six-pack and a bag of skittles

I tried that version for the first time today, and I must say, it is pretty sweet! It does add a little more to it. I'm just not fond of the not being able to switch up fingers like you do with the other version, but I most definitely like the sound better, so I'm stuck with want I want to play now, the fuller version, like the one you posted, or stick to me being lazy and playing the version that I'm use to playing?!Duffman wrote:when you get that down, you might want to check out the solo acoutic tab. really fun.

"this is a sort of inbetween one, really..."2StepGranny wrote:I guess I'll just have to mix it up a bit
anyway, i know what you mean, i usually play 2 measures of the original one, then 2 measures of the solo acoutic one, then go into the chorus. i like this song a lot.

Yeah, it's one of his songs that when you play it by yourself, you sound full no matter which version you play. But yeah, I definitely enjoy playing Grey StreetDuffman wrote:"this is a sort of inbetween one, really..."2StepGranny wrote:I guess I'll just have to mix it up a bit
