I can easily go through it, it's just that my timing is off.
I was wondering if the 4/5 on the G is played twice.
And is the 8 on the low E supposed to bend. I think
the 4/5 is where I end up passing Dave on the recording.
Wondering if anyone can help me out. Thanks guys.

just hold the 8 on the low E for a little longer, thats prolly what it is. Its hard to tell how dave plays that part from audio so get the VH1 storytellers video, that should help a lot...

Yeah, I usually hold the 8 a lil bit before I do the 4/5, and continue to hold the 8 while I do the slide. Hope that helps.

Exactly what Mr. Speeny said here. Hold the 8 on the Low E, and do the 4/5 slide whlie holding the 8 still. It can be a little difficult at first, but you'll get it

Exactly what I do. I hit the 8, hold it while I hit the 4/5 slide.

That would make sense seeing that they are both C notes(the 8 on the e and the 5 on the G). Thanks guys. Ill work on it...

I don't hold it, but I do rest and palm mute their, which sounds great in keep with the percussive sound. Either way works, I suppose.
Stay with me, safe and ignorant.
