How much is the most you think could possibly be reasonable for a guitar? Assume that it's just a guitar and doesn't have any special significance besides being a guitar (Like a guitar Dave played for six years and signed in his own blood. Oh, and made of wood that Eric Clapton grew in his backyard and built by James Taylor.)

I'm going to say $10,000.00. If I had endless money, $10,001.00 would still be unreasonable for any guitar.

yea if I had endless money, $10,000 would still probably be my limit as well. Because I would feel to nervous playing any guitar over $10,000.....although It would be neat to have a collection of guitars.

If I had endless money, price isn't going to matter. Whatever guitar sounds the best is what I'm going with regardless of price :)

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

I'd stop at 5,000. Honestly a gutar that costs 5,000 dollars best be 10 times better than a guitar that costs 500. Either that, or it should have a built-in coffee maker.... hmm, thats a good idea...

If money was no object your damn right I'd buy an Olsen (20 or 30k). But on the realistic side I'm going to agree with FJ at around 2K.

i dont know if i'd spend more than 2000 even if i had money flying out of my ass. it just seems way too much to spend 10k on a guitar, like getting charged 10 dollars for a small soda... in the end, that 10k guitar is just some pieces of wood glued together

I tell you what, since I had endless money... Whatever the cost of the guitar, I would match that cost with all local charities :)

If I'm a really good guitarist and I have unlimited funds, then price isn't a problem. Whatever sounds the best for what I'm trying to do is the most important thing to me.
