For the love of God someone ask me something about theory or jsut guitar in general. It has been months since I've been able to help anyone around here.
Seriously, any theory or general gutiar related (as in gutiar technique) questions can be asked in this thread and I will answer to the best of my abillity.

no, these blues scale is a pentatonic scale with an extra note (which makes it have six notes). the dorian mode, is just that, a mode, so it has seven notesDavy28 wrote:Very quick question, are dorian and blues scales the same thing?

when you keep adding a fifth, you get more and more notes. you start with the 1, then you of course add the 5, then the 5th of 5th is the same thing as the 2. so you have the 1, 2, and 5, which is a sus2
