For Ants and Grey Street I'm pretty much just using D major scales. Watchtower was A penatonic. My recommendation is that you just learn blues/penatonic scales to start it off. If you know all the relative majors/minors, then you can pretty much play anything in the blues scale pattern. I know I explained it terribly, but hopefully it helps a bit.
