anyone here play 1979 (Smashing Pumpkins) on the acoustic. if so can you teach me?

ive never learned it because from what i saw, you need to tune down half a step. i could be wrong. too lazy for that crap though. same goes for our lady peace songs. anywho, i dunno why i responded cuz i dont know how. sorry.

i also don't like tuning down so i don't. i just play standard. :)

Then off the A chord play f#m and then B.  From there you can go back to the verse or you can play c#m after the B and then an A and then f#m and then B.  Thats pretty much the whole song, you go back to the verse and after the 09 part end on a standard E.

this worked pretty well for me. It's not too bad once you get all the barring down. I don't play this ofetn becuase it's annoying to tune down every time. hope this helps.

i copy and pasted, and the chords didnt go above the words in the right spot. You will need to listen for the changes.

you can probably find a live acoustic version done on european mtv. i have a concert that has a really close-up version, that's how i got my tab.
