IMO the vocal track is too high compared to the guitar

that has a real good feel to it! well done, it sounds kind of familiar with what ben harper does with the innocent criminals. nice, bluesy. I agree nice finger pickin'

My computer doesn't allow me to record my music. I have to go to a 'studio' in order to get anything down. may I ask what system your using and the componets to record?

Thanks
For this recording I just had a cheap mixer plug into my soundcard and record from there. I used an sm48 for vocals(and the occasional foot-stomp) and my Ibeam pickup for my guitar. Then I added some compresion to beef up the sound.

Luckily, I found out that Im gonna be finnaly recording in a nice studio, So hopefully I will post some of that soon.

why dosnt your computer allow you to record?

it's a seven year old + mac lap top. I'm lucky to get it hooked up to the internet. there can't be a slower computer on the planet! I'm interested in spending some money when I move to get a nice set up that has the ability - which is why I inquired.

I have a tascam recorder, four track it's decent but I don't have any idea on where the sound card would be on this thing. I don't even know if the tascam is equiped to be plugged in to the computer. 414 mkII.
