My brothers band came to me with some songs to record for a demo for them. I usually dont cause im busy but i had time so check it out. If you want you could tell me if you like the song but i would like to hear some comments on the recording itself. Thanks guys..

The recording quality is pretty good. I'd probably take the level of the guitar down relative to the vocals. The rythm just sounds a little to strong or harsh at times. For me, it was a distraction. In the 2:30's for example, the guitar sounds really harsh. I think the song itself has potential... Good job.

I think I would take the treble down a little bit. The vocals and guitar, while good, were a little harsh. I would change the background vocals in places to harmonize better with the lead instead of just making more noise...especially the begining.

Otherwise, it's pretty good. The chord progression gets a little boring after a while. But I like the emotion.

yea they didnt bring along their bass player so the bottom end is pretty empty and i recorded the acoustic with a pair of rode Nt5's which dont pick up any low end at all. But thanks ill tell let them know u guys think the song has potential.
