Yep, this was a little jam Jason I did last night. He's doing Dave's part and I'm doing Timmy's.

Comments?

EDIT: I remixed the volume levels, and put a noise filter on Jason's track.

Thanks for the feedback. Heh, I don't think Jason has even heard the finished product yet.

Fine work, gentlemen. The only little thing I noticed was that the first strum coming from the 2nd guitar track at around :26 seconds is a little loud. Excellent job - very enjoyable to listen to (I have a few times now).
-Brian

Be excellent to one another.

Very nice guys...I liked it a lot. Jason's guitar was pretty off on a lot of spots though.

........HA! J slash motherfuckin K!

Beautiful rythm and lead tracks. Only one minor critique, with regard to mixing: I thought guitar two was turned up just a notch too high. Seriously though, you guys should do more. That was a fun one to listen to.

I agree that the "Timmy" guitar was a little overpowering. Also, when the song switches from the intro to the song I could hear an increase in background noise....probably because that's when the Tim guitar track starts. I would either include the full background noise level throughout the whole thing so it's not so noticable, or maybe fade in the second guitar for a long time (before it starts playing) so the noise gradually builds.

Besides that I think it's awesome. You had me singing.

Yeah, I don't want Jason to think I tried to outshine him by making my track louder than his. I was having problems mixing it. If I made it lower, there were parts where you could barely hear the notes. And yes, the first chord is really loud for some reason. I'll open up cool edit later and mess around with the volume settings a bit more.

Thanks for all the comments though. It's greatly appreciated.

Actually, I played the intro part, and the background noise is when Jason's track starts. That's why I couldn't have the noise playing throughout the whole thing.

Ok, I edited the volume levels of my track, and I put a noise reduction on Jason's track. Tell me how it sounds now.
