#41 Correction
Current version:
E:--------------------------------
B:---------------8---3--3----3----
G:---5-----7-----4---x--0h4--x----
D:---2-----4-----5---4--x----0h4--
A:---3-----5---7-7---5--5----5----
E:-5-5---7-7----------------------
(2) (2)
the third note is a modified Em7:
-------
--8----
--7----
--5----
--7----
-------
and I could very well be wrong but I've always understood the chorus to be:
G F#/G C
E:--------------------------------
B:---------------8---3--3----3----
G:---5-----7-----4---x--0h4--x----
D:---2-----4-----5---4--x----0h4--
A:---3-----5---7-7---5--5----5----
E:-5-5---7-7----------------------
(2) (2)
the third note is a modified Em7:
-------
--8----
--7----
--5----
--7----
-------
and I could very well be wrong but I've always understood the chorus to be:
G F#/G C

well...in all the videos i have seen of dave playing it, the tab is exactly right. and for the chorus, that's pretty much right. those are teh bass notes i guess.
the first chord's main note is a G, then an F#, then a C. but how dave plays it has been seen in videos and the tab shows that.
welcome to the boards!

Is there a link for the video? I'm new to this whole forum thing.
Whoops. That doesn't make sense. Key...key...
Anyways, play it, you'll hear the difference. The stated chord just doesn't fit like the Em7 does.
Honestly...I would never, ever, ever play it the other way.

Basically, Jared just tabs songs the exact way that Dave himself plays it and that is exactly how he plays it. Although the way Orion has it sounds pretty decent
