what song.....

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Unread post by jojo321 » Wed Mar 10, 2004 8:09 pm

Gave you the most satisfaction, when you FINALLY became able to play it.....well that is. Everytime you play this song you just feel so proud of yourself for being able to play it.

I have been playing for less than a year, so dont laugh when I say mine.

Satellite and Warehouse

Hey I'm feeling ya, Satellite was like that for me, but that was a while ago. To be honest I just learned Warehouse and The Stone in the past two days and I'm feeling pretty good.

I haven't been playing long at all. Well let me rephrase; I messed around for about a year on friends guitars and stuff but just recently got one for Christmas. I was so proud of myself when I could play The Stone all the way through without messing up or loosing my place. Learning a new song is a nice feeling. Now If I could just sing along

Rhyme & Reason and Lie in Our Graves, they were the two reasons why I started to play guitar in the first place

good question...Jimi Thing was so hard for me to get...but I played that riff for me and my parents for like weeks after I got it down...also What Will Become of Me..although it was not very hard, just getting those chords right was the biggest feat...I tabbed it from listener supported/by ear, ever before this site was here...

I tabbed Dodo by ear, and it was more or less the same as that vormann dude's tab.

I'm just getting the hang on santanas solos for love of my life. I love that song.

It was a good feeling when I got heart in NY by gallagher and lyle down, especially the travis picking which is a little tricky. Hats off to brad priddy for tabbing it.

Warehouse, because it's always been my favorite Dave song, and I believe I play it very well.

Technically, I'm pretty proud of myself for playing The Stone fairly well, but I could be better at. Sometimes though, I'm in the zone, and I just feel like I rawk when I'm playing it.

My song would have to be tripping billies. I can play most dave songs except for the baritone and raised b tunings(except for stay or leave(capo). It took me soo long to get the verse of t.b. The stone still gives me the shivers when i finish it too
