I need some help and opinions, please read..

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I havent posted for a while but I still read ehre ocassionally

My friend and I are going to do a Dave and Tim song for the talent show in April. We're trying to figure out what song we should play. If you all have any experience with a Dave and Tim song in a talent show tell me about it. I'd be the Dave of the group and I can play pretty much all of his songs. So just give me some good options and thatd be great. Thanks for any help..

If that's the case, you have to do Ants Marching man! Storytellers version ;-) And if you did, I might have to come see you :-P Well there's my input

A friend and I did the first verse of Crash and the extended Jam (with teh whole, "You'll be my dixie chick, I'll be your Tennesse lamb" thing), the first verse and last two Choruses of When the World Ends, and ended with Jimi Thing in it's entirety. We had fifteen minutes to perform, so he improved solos to help with key changes and we improved the outro to Jimi Thing. Try something like that.

Thanks for the opinions. I will be singing and playing the dave part. Trippin Billies and Ants are looking good right now. I can play those really well, and then two step and 41 would also be good. Would Satellite be too slow to play at a show like that, i dont know.. I think Billies might be it but thanks for the help.

Tripping Billies is fun as hell to play.

And it was so much fun to play that. We only one twenty bucks, but hey, not winning would have been worth going on stage. I love it.

I don't know, I've never seen the storytellers...but I do know that they speed it up on L@LC. I think it would be good enough to play....
