You've said that for like the past 3 years.

Unless they somehow put together another pretty good album before its all over, I will not be seeing them again. I actually hope they never even tour again.

I am fairly on the side of not going any more as well. They'll always be my all-time favorite band, but lately I don't find it worth the ticket prices and having to endure the shitty crowds and parking lots any more. The sets are usually blah (except this year has potential). The thing that bothers me most is that I know exactly what's going to happen in each song as far as solo spots, general melodies of said solos, etc. I dunno, whatever.

I saw two nights in a row at Alpine last year and had a blast. They don't really play near Chicago anymore to justify the ticket prices and travel. I've gone to 15 shows and maybe didn't enjoy 2 shows. But each one was a unique experience and a lot of fun. I can understand the cynicism of some people, but just stop going.

I'm aware. It will just make everybody's lives easier if they just stop all together.

Exactly how I felt on Saturday night. I was pretty bored most of the time. My girlfriend and I got there early so we were right up on the rail on the lawn, pretty good spot. When Two Step started playing we walked to the top of the hill so we could start beating traffic.

Is your life really more difficult because the Dave Matthews Band goes on tour?

Except for the millions of people that, you know, still like going to their concerts...
