Just in case the boards light up tonight I've enclosed a cover for yall's enjoyment....I'm on a recording kick so expect tons of covers....(sorry to torture you guys but I think it's fun!)
I've also slowly been working on some originals so I hope to have some by the end of this month (I did say slowly!)
Anyway let me know what you think....(and Grave, if you're gonna review make it worthwhile...put some effort into it

)

CAve......what more can I say about your playing? This one - like everything else you've posted - sounds fantastic. I still don't believe your playing into a computer mic

......the guitar sounds too fucking good! Mine sounds horrible through my cheap mic......yours sounds awesome. Great job on Nancies.......keep 'em coming......I enjoy listening to your shit..

Thanks man....your compliments are feeding my soon to be over inflated ego which I willuse to rule the world
I want to get some good recording equipment because I want to get into recording some more...it's fun as hell. I would plug my guitar in but I have NO CLUE what the knobs do and I cannot get the nice sound that the guitar has when it's not plugged in. I need help with that aspect..

the intro sounds good...the guitar is right on and good enough to keep interest...why dodn't you drop down a half note on every other "COULD I HAVE BE
EN"...you know what I mean?
the verses sound good...I really dig the guitar work...
"la-la-la"...hehe...sounds tight and clean...no mistakes yet either....
haha...i know man, its hard to get those triple strums in there
sound tight and well put together
Kudos

I don't think Dave does those triple strums or whatever, its Tim that does that and it's really cool, and I can't do it either. The guitar work is awesome - I like how you got that beat going during the intro. That's a fantastic sounding guitar that I wish I owned but what can you do. It's a great cover, and the voice is coming along nicely and I believe it will get better which I hope mine will as well. anyhooooo how am I doing so far? lets see what else, I like your palm muting and shit. um, so what else do you have for us? how about a slow one, I'm curious to hear what you can do with some quiet songs like, say, I'll Back You Up or I dunno Christmas song or something. Or play whatever you want, I don't care. I'll listen to any Dave covers you give us. Great job on nancies by the way.
phew! that wasn't easy.
peace,
Ken

Hehehe...it was great Grave....your critiques are coming along nicely
I will try a slower one..by request. I think I'll do Christmas Song. I have a hard time singing softer, but the more I do it the better I SHOULD get.
Thanks Grave.

If you want to get into recording you have a couple options other than one computer mic...

You could go with a condensor mic like the studio projects B1 (about $79) or a dynamic like the shure sm-57 (also abouit $80). Those are the best cheap mics out there...i dont know what your looking to spend but those are the best your going to get for under a $100.

Thanks. It had crossed my mind but I have already spent my money on some effects pedals so it will have to wait. I will look into them though.
