I don't know about converting, but Winamp has a plug-in that lets you play .SHN files directly. The Scarlet Pimpernel wrote:and how would one convert said files to mp3?checkii wrote:shnut4ever8 wrote:what kinda files are these?

Click on the "Decode Audio Files" tab and that will decode the shn files to .wav files. From there you can convert those to mp3s.

You installed TLHelper right? When you open the program you should see a list of tabs towards the top ("Verify Checksum" "Create Checksum" etc.). "Decode Audio Files" is about the 6th one over. click on that, click "add" to add files you want to be decoded to .wav, click 'decode' and you're done.TimmyC1238 wrote:Sorry for the stupid question, but where is the "decode audio files" tab? I don't see it anywhere. Thanks
theoretically you arent supposed to be converting these to lossy files. If you need more help I suggest doing a search here because the question has been covered many times.
Please do not share this in mp3 form. If you do convert it do it for your personal usage.
just google shn to mp3 convert. or search on download.com those 3 terms and get a program that can do it. After that just use the program's FAQs.
