Thanks To everyone who helped me with my problem with learning how to get started! Now I have an even bigger problem....my strumming sucks...its basically my fingers are either too big or... im just that bad(which is a possibility) but yet again im asking help from the community and again any help will be deeply appreciated. Also, this has to be the web site i go to the most on a regular day basis. Thanks you guys. 8)

Hey newuser , welcome to the boards I hope you'll enjoy your stay here

Strumming can be quite a big problem , especially if you haven't been playing for long , hold the pick firmly and yet a little lose , between your index finger and your thumb , and keep your wrist lose , its all in the wrist With practice comes perfect

Another note while im at it To make a signature , don't use the quote function , instead hit the button on the top of your screen that says PROFILE , there is a box in your PROFILE option where you can fill in your signature

everybody thinks its all about the fretboard hand. Too me that just comes with practice, a real player has great rythm. Your pick hand makes all the difference. By the way I went and saw a really great band tonight. Nobody has heard of them cause they're a local band but their name is Bosko and they are gonna be big some day.....I'm passin out, peace
