Overall not bad but

the strumming sounds a wee bit too fast, otherthan that its wasn't bad

work some on your voice and its all good.

sounds pretty good to me for playing for 8 months...i agree about the strumming speed, but even so...did you teach yourself to play or did you get lessons?

yeah, the strumming is fast, i agree, its because i did it like 5 times, kept messing up it seems. its like i felt pressured because i was recording myself so i just wanted to get it done.
but yeah, my friend showed me how to read tabs a while back and i just taught my self everything.

It's temporarily suspended right now, but I'll check back later and give it a listen.

But man, I highly disagree with this approach to recording. Cultivate the pressure on yourself. Certainly do not be in a rush to get it done because it will no doubt sound like you were in a rush to get it done. Spend a lot of time on your recordings. Do a couple takes and listen intently to yourself. You'll be much more satisfied afterwards.

Be excellent to one another.

(haven't listened)

It's also helpful if you can just "leave the tape rolling." 'cause if you go "ok [click] now I am going to record this" you will feel all that pressure to do it right, but that's not what sounds best.. it'll sound best if you are relaxed and chill like you are goofing around.. someone of my best recordings are just me and my friend leaving the recording going for hours of playing around

yeah same here, i usually hit record, warm up a little bit by playing random chords, progressing to harder ones, etc... then ill start playing the song, and if i fuck something up i just start playing it over
