I need some help
I might be recording in one of the nicer studios in the country this april. The only reason I might be able to do this, is becuase my best friend has an internship there and they gave him free studio time and he offered it to me. I will only have a few days in there, but heres my question:
What kinda CD should I make?
Most of my stuff now is just solo acoustic&vocals stuff, but mabey I should add drums, bass, electric guitar, ect.
I dont really want to make a poppy CD, but im not sure if making a plain folk CD is what I wanna do either.
I really need some suggestions, thanks-

Well of course it's totally up to you, but if I had access to top notch equipment, I would try to bring in as many quality musicians as I could. That doesn't necessarily mean that every song has to feature an array of instruments, I'm just recommending that while you have access, you should make use of it. I would also be sure to get a number of tracks down with just you and your guitar. Nothing better than an awesome quality solo acoustic/vocals. That's really a grand opportunity. Have a great time.

from the stuff of yours that i have heard (which is very good btw) i would say that i would enjoy most just an acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, and some light drums and/or congos and give it a kind of bluesy/jazzy feel.
have fun and good luck.
let us know when you're done, im sure we would all like to hear it.
have fun and good luck.
