The Stone transistion
At the end of the Stone when the transition is played, it gets a lot faster. I tried playing the same notes just strumming "double speed" I guess you could say, but i just doesn't sound right. Any pointers? By the way, Hi to yall. Ive been checkin out this site for about 3 months now, well since I got my guitar which was around Christmas time. I never really knew the boards were here. I've found a lot of useful stuff so far and plan on being a regular. Any help on this Stone situation is appreciated. See yall!!

hey hey, welcome mon ami!!
but anyway, i think your refering to the charlie rose video, whee he does that kool strumming thing along with the transition, i dont thnk you need to change the pace you play, i just mute the other 4 strings and strum while playing the transition at the same pace.
yes i know this probably didnt help, im terrible at explaining things online, but i thought maybe i would give it a go and see if i could help
and again welcome to the boards, cant say it enough

I think I know what your talking about
If your talking about the very last part of the stone, after the "wise men" part. It's not touble time. The time stays the same, its just a matter of playing the same note twice. Kind of like warehouse. Basically, your strumming one string at a time hitting both the up and down of it. You don't have to mute anything when you get better with your pick control.
Hope this helps.e------------------------

you're talkin about something different... nugsta was talking about what he does on the radio station show, he plays the ending a lot harder, like warehouse which someone said... he doesn't play it this way on the charlie rose showTaylorsBaby225 wrote:hey hey, welcome mon ami!!
