G, C, D, Em
G, C, D, Em
Hey guys. A friend at work was asking me what some good songs are to start learning guitar. Well, I gave him a print out with a bunch of chords, and told him to practice those. Me, I just started looking on the internet for different songs that I liked, and went from there. I want to give him some more direction since he doesn't have all the resources I do. So what are some of the best songs using these 4 chords that you all have played? (I could even learn from this too)

if you learn those 4 chords you could play about 479 Christian songs. learn E B C#m A and you know 75% of em.

yeah those are some great players, i didn't know you were a fan of shane and shane (you mean their older stuff and not necessarily "Carry Away" right?shane wrote:nah, some Christian bands make up for it (ie: David Crowder, Shane & Shane, Casting Crowns, supposedly SCC, but i havent listened to his stuff. i heard hes an incredible guitarist)

but steven curtis chapman is an AMAZING guitar player (though you wouldn't be able to tell by the stuff that makes it to the radio :s ) but check out a song called "Lord of the dance" the abbey road version.

Yeah I guess I can just listen to the song and figure it out. I am so lazy some times. I love that song and I think that would be one that I could sing well. Thanks for bringing that one up man.Snyder wrote:you could get it down in 5 minutes dude!NPR wrote:I am gonna get this one down tomorrow.
