Fuck that sounds so much better than the album. Turn the guitars down and the violin and horns UP!
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

anyone have the link that described one of the songs (I'm assuming it was LITHOG) as a duet between dave and leroi? i think that's how it was worded - i'm sort of curious to read some of the reviews again now that i've heard the album

The guy in the Chicago Tribune called it their best album yet.

I actually like it now, having heard that. Like a complete 180 from how I felt before.

The thing that aggravates the crap out of me on the studio Why I Am is that you can't hear Timmy's part around the "It's why I Am" part. That drove the song for me and was sweet when I heard it live for the first time. Something just sounds like it's missing on the record. Now in terms of the Fallon show, I liked how Boyd was louder on Why I Am, but I thought he was WAY too loud on FTWII. Overall though, I thought FTWII sounded like crap on Fallon, actually come to think of it I have not heard them play it well yet live (IMO...).

Kind of random, but I got the deluxe version with the prints for each song and framed them today. Hobby Lobby is having a huge sale on all their frames, 50% off. So if you are thinking about framing anything, go to Hobby Lobby.

thanks for the heads up. Is the documentary the same thing that's been on FUSE all week? Which is awesome by the way. I just watched the part where they were talking about making the first 3 albums. I was giddy.

I think this album is pretty solid and I'm hoping it's a stepping stone to get back to form. It seems like they are honestly having fun again playing together. I really found that Fuse doc interesting too. The old footage is priceless.

I agree. Still not a huge fan of AP, but it's not as bad as some people are saying. I love Dive In.

no, it's only like 30 minutes and is basically a compilation of all the clips we've already seen...(was actually kind of bummed, was hoping it'd be the stuff fuse aired)
