I completely agree. In my opinion, this album doesn't even come close to touching BS.

I have all bonus in one packet of info. If you want it pm me, and remember you can always delete everything but Cornbread.

Edit: Just listened to Write A Song on my iPod and its fucked up so I gotta fix it, hold up!

Edit 2: Got a good version now... Ask away.

It seems the vocals are really secondary in a lot of places. The music is really tight though, for the most part. I'm looking forward to giving it more listens.

I have to say that Grux -> SMLAM gave me chills when I blasted it in the car on the way to work this morning.

He wrote the lyrics as "feckin' nut jobs" in the book and on the large prints. Weird

Where's the special thanks to Batson?

EDIT: Nevermind.

I didn't know Batson had a writing credit on Cornbread.

The studio Cornbread has a real flecktones feel too it to me, not only because of the strong influence on banjo, but the woodwind/horns part seems very coffin-esque, and just how they mark some of the beats.

My dad bought the super deluxe set, and even though I'd never spend that amount of money myself on the album, I gotta admit it's pretty sweet. There's a big-ass drawing devoted to each song, a little picture book devoted solely to LeRoi, a large picture book of the band, the CD itself, the DVD documentary thing, and Little Red Bird (the 4 song bonus CD). The picture book is cool too; it doesn't just have recent pics, but also of way back in the day. There's a large pic of the songlist from early BTCS, with MacHead on it, which I thought was interesting. I think Little Red Bird's better than Big Whiskey. I'm gonna end up listening to that and LT15 way more than BWATGGK.
