DUDES
I just played out last night for the first time ever! I've only been playing for 8 months and I was SO SCARED! Was anyone else "shitting bricks" the first time so bad they wanted to leave???? Wow. It was an experience of a lifetime. I played at a place with about 100 people in it. It was a small music hall with a nice stage and couches for people to sit on. It was very informal which helped. But everyone who went before me was so good that I was in so much pressure! Yiiiikes!
I played two songs : Warehouse solo then watchtower with my friend.
crazy!
~dave
sorry to ramble about myself but i had to tell someone! especially the site that made it all possible!
p.p.s. : i did the passion intro. booya.

the first time i played in front of people was in high school. there were probably about 350 people there and my two friends and i played a bunch of radiohead songs during lunch on stage. one of my friends was playing bass and my other friend and i were on acoustics. it was kind of scary but we were really stoned and you don't really have to have a great singing voice to sing radiohead.
the second time i played was in a coffee house where i played my acoustic with this fine ass austrailian chick i was dating for about a month. we sang some dave, crash, spoon, song that jane likes and ants and then i had to play some cranberries and beatles song for her. i haven't played infront of others since then which was about 2.5 year ago.
i need to find some people in the bend, or. area who want to smoke lots of pot and play dave

Search the threads... I think the title was My Passion Intro Tab by Firedancer86. Very cool.
