dave uses a capo?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I like to put mine on all but the big E, sometime I use two capos, on put on regular and one put on reverse (meaning the back pad on the strings, so it only holds down A D G).

Though that is his 714c, so it makes me wonder if this was before he started putting his guitar in raised-b???

That is picture taken from the 2002 Gorge shows, when he went on stage and played a few songs with Jason Mraz's guitar....Loving Wings and Nancies were the songs. You can find the videos at http://www.mrazmerized.com

definitely not a capo unless dave uses one of the cheap little ones with a nylon band that wraps around... i would think he would go for a little bit nicer spring one if he was gonna use one.
