Question: on the intro, are you muting the chords with your chord fingering hand or your strumming hand?

The muting I do with my strumming hand. I mute the B and high E with my other hand to sort of alternate between the open and muted sound of the intro chord though. Also, I use my pinky on the same chord to do that thing where he slides 13 to 14 on the D
