No one ever talks about it though. It just feels "forgotten" almost. Especially with casual listeners. I don't always mean people on this board don't appreciate it. Almost everyone here is slightly, if not completely, obsessed with DMB's music.

I actually wouldnt call ANY of those rarities.
Several were just light in rotation this past tour, but theyre not going anywhere (liog, seek up) Dreaming tree was played 10 times this past tour, which sort of brings it out of any kind of obscurity. The other ones are not rarities - theyre actually defunct, and havent been played in over a decade. And I doubt they'll ever be seen again.
Not to burst the bubble or anything. But yeah.

I'm aware of their stats. You conveniently didnt quote the part where I said that those songs are defunct, and wont ever be played again. Rare inherently means its in rotation, or has the potential to be. I'll give you my entire collection of dmb shows, along with a paid vacation to Cancun if any of those songs are ever played again. Relax foo, it wasnt a personal attack.HCHaikuWarrior wrote:mbgreen wrote:I actually wouldnt call ANY of those rarities.

hmm thats fuckin odd...since OOAWA was played once, Heathcliff's only like 3 times, and err Spotlight very rare as well considering daves hatred torwards it....not to burst your bubble or anything. But yeah.
