Help with Crush

Unread post by Iceman25 » Tue Feb 04, 2003 4:33 pm

Hey everyone, what's up! I need some help. I've been trying to play Crush with the tabs from this site and by watching the StoryTellers video but am struggeling big time on the Chourus. I can't seem to get the rhythem or finger placement right. Does anyone have any tips (or video/audio) for the rhythem, fingering, or know of an alternative way to play this part, perhaps something lower on the neck where theres more room? Once I can get this part down, I should be able to piece it together. Thanks guys, I'd appreciate any kind of advice Once again, prop's to this site and everyone responsible for keeping it going!
Why won't you ever be glad, it melts into wonder-ahhhhhhhh!

If you mean this part:

Code: Select all

e-------------------------
B-------------------------
G--12--12--12--12--
D--10--12--10---9--
A---8--10--10--10--
D--------------------------
Then try this:

Code: Select all

e---------------------
B---------------------
G--------------------
D--5--5--5--5---
A--3--3--3--2---
D--3--5--x--x---
(The four notes fall on CRAZY, THINKING, KNOWING, WORLD)

----------------
----------------
--7--9--5--4--
--7--9--5--4--
--5--7--3--2--
--5--7--3--2--

and just before he moves into a different part go to this:
---------------
---------------
--7--9--5--4--
--7--9--5--2--
--5--7--3--2--
--5--7-----2--

No offense to the poster, but don't try those. They are not the right notes.
That has G, A, F, E, while they should be F, G, C, B.

yeah, I think he had the section in question confused. those are the right chords for the "Lovely lady....." section. Iceman wanted the chorus.

but those chords are actually Gadd9, Aadd9, C5, and E. the chorus chords are just F, G, C.

peace,
Ken
good, and you?
