****TIMMY'S PART TO CRUSH (FULL)****

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

****TIMMY'S PART TO CRUSH (FULL)****

Unread post by i-am-me » Sun Feb 01, 2004 4:24 pm

So me and subotai have been working on this tab...tell me what you think of it. there's a lot of variation thrown into this by timmy. don't take this to be EXACT. but its pretty damn close. you can replace a lot of this by just any sort of fills in the b minor pentatonic scale. wlel enough of that...here it is.

Code: Select all

Verse:(Crazy, how it…)
-2-----2-2---1----3-----2-
-3--8--3-2---1----0--1--3-
-4--7--4-2---2----0--0--4-
-4--9--2-2---3----0--2--4-
-2-----5-5---3----2--3--2-
-----------1-1--3-3-------
    ******

Lovely Lady… *
------------------------------
-3--/5-5-3--/5--0-5-----1-5---
-2--/4-4-2--/4--4-4--9--0-7---
-0-------0------2-2--7--2-6---
-0-------0--------------3-7---
-3-------3--------------------

And to wonder this…
---------------------------0--7---7---7---7----2-2--
-3--/5-5-3--/5--0-5-------1----7---7---7---7---3-2--
-2--/4-4-2--/4--4-4--9---0------7---7---7---7--4-2--
-0-------0------2-2--7--2--------9-------9-----2-2--
-0-------0-------------3--------------9------9-5-5--
-3-------3------------------------------------------

Chorus: (It’s crazy, I’m thinking)
-1--3---------------
-1--0--1--3-1-0-----
-2--0--0--0-----2-0-
-3--0--2--0---------
-3--2--3--2---------
-1--3---------------

End of Chorus: (the more I love you…)
-1--3-----2--
-1--0--1--3--
-2--0--0--4--
-3--0--2--4--
-3--2--3--2--
-1--3--------
          ^

*: sometimes played:
-----7--7--7-----
-------------1-5-
-9--9--9--9--0-7-
-7-7--7--7---2-6-
-------------3-7-
-----------------

^: First chord of verse. Goes right back into the verse.

****** Seen it played like that or:

-2--------------
-3--3-2-----------
-4--2-2-----------
-2--x-x-----------
-5--2-2-----------
----0-0----------

Also from the DVD I have when he plays the chorus riff for the 1st time he plays

-0--
-1--
-2--
-3--
-3--
----

instead of

-1--
-1--
-2--
-3--
-3--
-1--

but he goes back to it after the first time through the progression.

hey this is wicked stuff... i love it when people tab timmy stuff. 22225x is probably one of the coolest sounding chords i've ever heard..
Its like... getting two birds stoned at once. (Ricky-trailor park boys).

He is not any worse than any other poster here, and the people who claim he is just don't know what they're talking about. The demonization has gotten ridiculously out of hand.

D and Bm are the same thing.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
