Dave tuning question
I am hoping someone out there can answer this question. When Dave plays in a raised B tuning how does he tune his guitar without breaking the strings. I really raise my low E seven steps? Or is Dave using different guage strings? I want to play stay or leave and angel the right way but cant.
Thanks
Thanks

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH dont keep turning!!!!!!!! REALLLY BAD IDEA!!!!! AND A GOOD WAY TO F UP YOUR GUITAR!!!!! DAVE PLAYS ALL THOSE SONGS IN B ON HIS BARITONE GUITAR!!!!! IF YOU ATTEMPT TO DO TUNE YOUR GUITAR WITH HEAVIER STRINGS U CAN SEVERELY DAMAGE THE BRIDGE OR PERMANANTLY BEND THE NECK!!!! FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! sorry haha i got a little excited i just dont want you to hurt a perfectly good guitar. The best thing to do is play with a capo or just purchase a baritone....just dont kill your axe.

No, you're not right actually.. baritone and raised be are exact opposites of the spectrum, raised B, higher then standard, baritone, lower then standard.. dave plays all his on a taylor 714 with different gauge strings(which are posted in the FAQ of this site) and tuned up to the posted tunings..Phan226 wrote:ok im a spaz... i was right... http://gear.dmbtabs.com/view.php?id=8
