DMB COVER SET LIST

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Looks pretty good man. Any idea of what order you were planning on playing them or do you just decide that on the day of the show?

I would say add LIOG because of the jam you could have with it, and its such a fun song overall. I've also been playing So Damn Lucky tons lately and its become a favorite. I don't know if you wanted to stay away from Dave solo songs but it rocks. (ecspecially with the new outro). You ever play around Indy?

Actually YES!!! We are from Indianapolis!!!! This is really our first show and no clue on the order yet still picking which songs we are playing. We are playing at a place called Lizard's it is off of Madison and Thompson you should come check us out. It is on September 26th. How cool that we are both Hoosiers!! I see you are an IU fan as well as am I. Small world!

A few observations/questions:

1. That is a lot of music. How long do you have to play?
2. Stay away from covers of covers (i.e. Cortez, Time of the Season, Thank You, Sweet Caroline...)
3. With what's left I would order it as such

Don't Drink The Water
So Much To Say
Grey Street
You Might Die Trying
Crash Into Me
Joy Ride
The Dreaming Tree
Grace Is Gone
Warehouse
What Would You Say?

Ants Marching
------------ (not sure if you have an encore break or not, if you don't just disregard this)
Satellite
Crush
Tripping Billies (not on your list, but I'd consider adding it)

I agree with Mark, I'd stay away from covers of covers, especially in a tribute/cover band. The only exception I'd make is All Along The Watchtower, because it's such an original take on a song, that covering it the way DMB covers it would be, in my opinion, acceptable.

Yeah I'll try to make it up there. I'm down in Bloomington for school right now but if I can get back I'll be there. I got your email and I'll get back to you about the show.
