Unread post by transamten94 » Fri Jan 30, 2004 6:22 pm

Hey I dont know if you guys have ever heard of them but a great tibute band is "The Dave Matthews Cover Band" best I've ever seen. Check them out at http://www.thedmcb.com also when I saw them at the House of Blues in Chicago they had a band called Scratchtrack open for them that was down right bad f-ing ass!!! they have two vocalist and one acoustic guitarist and they play all kinds of hiphop and rap. What makes them so great is that the vocalist switch back between each other one singing/rapping and the other b-boppin and playing the drums and making record scratch effects with his mouth and the guitarist is bad real bad. Like Timmy Reynolds gone hip hop
people stare and we just ingnore them and they go away go away go away

Yeah i almost went to see them @ House of Blues in Chicago. This girl i work with has a cousin that has a band that was supposed to open for them until the cover band booted them at the very last minute. I have heard that they sound pretty good though. But, an ORIGINAL dave matthews band is MUCH BETTER

I really enjoy cover bands. I just like to see their version of the song. I hope that they changed so they put in there creativity

Yeah DMCB is pretty awesome! I have seen them like 5 times. They come to the Tampa Bay area like 6 times a year. They are coming again Feb. 12 and I am gonna go see them. It is at Jannus Landing which is an outdoor venue and they sound awesome there.
