sweet up and down help

sweet up and down help

i'm, having trouble witht the verse, primarily:

D:-2--4/5--

any tips? any way i try and play it sounds totally wrong. do you strum the 2's and then hit the 4's real quick and slide?

i usually play an extra (444) in between the (222) and the (444/555) - I think it sounds nicer, but thats just my opinion i guess

so what it sounds like is hit each once, then a quick mute after the 555? did i understand you recording right? that's what it sounds like

if that's what it sounds like, then yeah, that's what i do.. if you like the way you play it, so be it.. it's music, open for interpretation..
